Over the weekend I made some french toast in the crockpot. The good thing is it only was a handful of ingredients and simple to assemble. The bad part was that it took a few hours to cook so unless you were up at 5am (thanks little guy) it won’t be ready first thing in the morning. The recipe comes from the JazzyThings crockpot e-book found here. I had to add some extra liquid at the end because it was to dry and needed something sweet. If you don’t add sugar, banana or anything sweet it will not be sweet. I definitely had to modify that part!
Sprouted bread (3-4 slices covered the bottom of my crockpot)
1 egg white
1/4 C. Sour Cream
1/4 C. Almond Milk
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla
2/3 C. Blueberries
*Tear bread into pieces and layer in crockpot. Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over bread. Cook 2-3 hours and add some vanilla coffee creamer (I like the Almond Milk Vanilla Creamer) towards the end to keep it moist and give it a sweet taste.
